Use the action viewing interface

Audience: Manager, Coaches, Staff, Players, Scouts Difficulty: Medium
Note: If actions are logged live during the game, the action viewing interfaces can be used to consult the accumulated statistics at any time during the game, see the “Use the live action logger” tutorial for more information.
To use the action viewing interface, go to the game Web page…

  1. From the "Dashboard" press the team button.
  2. On the team Web page go to the "Games" section and press the game button.
Table based actions viewing interface
The actions segmentation must have been done beforehand in order to access the actions viewing interface.
Step 1
  1. Go to the "Actions viewing" section and press the "Table based actions" button.
Step 2
  1. Use the drop-down list to select the player, group of players or the team for which the action statistics must be visible in the table.
  2. Use the drop-down list to select the action for which the statistics must be visible in the table.
  3. Press the number of the period to add or remove the actions of this period from the statistics visible in the table.
  4. Press the icon at the right of the action description line to see all the video sequences for this action.
  5. Press the icon at the right of an action line to view the video sequence of this action .
  6. Press the Info icon on an action line to see the messages associated with this action.
  7. Press in the space where the specific characteristics are displayed or on the clock in the action line to display the action specific characteristics widget, continue to step 4.
  8. Press the name of the player or the team on an action line to send a message including the video sequence of this action in the messaging system. See the "Send a video sequence in a message" tutorial for more information.
  9. Press the "Game" back arrow to return to the game Web page.
Step 3
While watching a video sequence or a period.
  1. Press the icon at any time to send the video sequence to the highlights of the game summary, available for manager, coaches, staff and players. See the "Send a video sequence in the summary" tutorial for more information.
  2. Press the icon at any time to send the video sequence in one of the team lessons, available to the manager and coaches. See the "Sending a video sequence in a lesson" tutorial for more information.
  3. Press the icon at any time to send the video sequence to a player’s profile, available to the manager and coaches. See the "Sending a video sequence in a profile" tutorial for more information.
  4. Press the icon at any time to send the video sequence in a message to a player or a group, available to the manager, coaches, staff and players. See the "Send a video sequence in a message" tutorial for more information.
  5. Press the icon at any time to add a drawing overlay on the video sequence, available for the manager and coaches . See the "Use the drawing tool" tutorial for more information.
  6. The bottom time represents the time from the start of the video. The top time represents the game clock and will be displayed only if one of the team members has entered the clock information during the game.
  7. Press in the scroll bar or move the cursor to fast forward or rewind the video of the period.
  8. Use these buttons to manage the video playback of the period, from left to right: skip back, pause, play, exit and skip forward. Pressing returns to the action table Web page.
  9. Use these buttons to slow down or speed up the video playback of the period.
Step 4
  1. Use the drop-down list to assign the action to a player, group of players or a team.
  2. Use the drop-down list to change the action type, to delete an action use the "Deleted" action type located at the bottom of the drop-down list (the action will remain available in the "Deleted" action type).
  3. Use the arrows to increase or decrease the start time and the stop time of the video sequence.
  4. Use the various buttons to modify the characteristics specific to the action.
  5. Enter a comment to be associated to this action video sequence.
  6. Press the icon to save the information or the icon to cancel the changes and return to the beginning of step 2.
On-ice actions viewing interface
The actions segmentation must have been done beforehand in order to access the actions viewing interface.
Step 1
  1. On the game Web page go to the "Actions viewing" section and press the "Graphical on-ice actions" button.
Step 2
  1. Use the drop-down list to select the player, group of players or the team for which the statistics for the chosen action must be visible on the ice.
  2. Use the drop-down list to select the action for which the statistics must be visible on the ice.
  3. Press the number of the period to add or remove the actions of this period from the statistics visible on the ice.
  4. View the detailed characteristics of an action by placing the mouse cursor over the puck on a computer or tapping the puck on a tablet or smartphone.
  5. Visualize all the actions having a positioning on the ice rink. The pucks are shown in blue and red (goal) for the opponent and in black and green (goal) for the team.
  6. View the total number of actions for the opponent, including actions that have no positioning on the ice rink.
  7. View the total number of actions for the team, including actions that have no positioning on the ice rink.
  8. Press the "Game" back arrow to return to the game Web page.
