Use the live actions logger

Audience: Manager, Coaches, Staff, Players, Members Difficulty: Medium
Note: To have the right to enter actions, the manager or coaches must have granted the right to enter actions to members, players and staff, either when accepting the user in the team or in the "Team members" section of the "Team settings" Web page. The user’s rights can be granted or removed at any time, see "Team members" section of the "Configure a team" tutorial. When loggin actions, the clock management uses the same technology as online video games, all team members can manage the clock simultaneously. It’s therefore important to determine beforehand who will be responsible for managing the clock to not generate conflicts.
To log live actions, go to the game Web page...

  1. From the "Dashboard" press the team button.
  2. On the team Web page go to the "Games" section and press the button of the game for which the actions must be logged.
Actions logging - Fast segmentation
Step 1
  1. To choose the fast segmentation of actions, on the game Web page go to the "Actions logging - Live game" section and press the "Accept" button on the "Fast segmentation" line.
  2. Press the "Fast Segmentation" button displaying your name.
Step 2
  1. For each period, adjust the clock time according to the length of the period.
  2. For each period, synchronize the start of the video recording by pressing the “Synchronize period - Video start” button (communicating with the team member who is filming the video of the period may be necessary to know when record is pressed).
  3. For each period, synchronize the start of the period by pressing the “Synchronize period - Puck drop" button when the puck drop at the beginning of the period.
  4. To change the period, press the "X" button to make the clock dialog disappear, press the button for the desired period and resume from the beginning of step 2.
Step 3
  1. Every time the game stops, press pause and synchronize the clock time with the game clock. Restart the clock when the play restarts.
  2. When one of the selected actions occurs on the ice, press the appropriate action button.
  3. Within 3 seconds from pressing the action button, it’s possible to associate a player by choosing his number, a line of forwards or a pair of defenses to the action.
  4. If time allows, it’s also possible to characterize more precisely the action entered by pressing the button to bring up the action characteristics interface.
Step 4
  1. Characterize the action more specifically.
  2. Press the button to register the detailed characteristics or press the button to cancel the changes.
Multiple actions logging - With position on ice
It’s important to note that if a team member has agreed to enter an action, this action won’t be included in the list of actions available for the fast segmentation.
Step 1
  1. On the game Web page go to the "Actions logging - Live game" section, to choose one or more actions to be entered live according to the priorities defined by the coaches press the "Accept" button on the action line container. If another member has already chosen the action, it won’t be available and his name will be displayed after the action’s name.
  2. To no longer enter an action, press the "Cancel" button on the action line container.
  3. To go to the logging interface, press one of the action buttons displaying your name.
Step 2
  1. For each period, adjust the clock time according to the length of the period.
  2. For each period, synchronize the start of the video recording by pressing the “Synchronize period - Video start” button (communicating with the team member who is filming the video of the period may be necessary to know when record is pressed).
  3. For each period, synchronize the start of the period by pressing the "Synchronize period - Puck drop" button when the puck drop at the beginning of the period.
  4. To change the period, press the "X" button to make the clock dialog disappear, press the button for the desired period and resume from the beginning of step 2.
Step 3
  1. When the game stops, press pause and synchronize the clock time with the game clock. Restart the clock when the play restarts.
  2. When one of the chosen actions occurs on the ice, take the puck for the team performing the action and drag it to the position on the ice where the action occurs.
Step 4
  1. To choose the right action, press one or more times on the number button of the player performing the action or on the team button if it’s impossible to see the player’s number.
  2. If time allows, characterizes more specifically the action entered using the right section.
  3. Press the "Register" button to register the action and its characteristics or press the "Cancel" button to cancel this action.
